Who Are We?

Benevolent Association Dedicated to Giving to Employees of Forsyth County Service Organizations, Inc. B.A.D.G.E. was founded in 2015, as an independent, charitable 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering aid and the overall well-being to employees of Forsyth County Sheriff's Office, Fire Department, Emergency Management/E911, and Cumming Police Department. The mission of B.A.D.G.E. is to give back to first responder employees of these four service organizations that serve, protect, and rescue those in need.

What Do We Do?

The mission of B.A.D.G.E. is to give back to employees of the Forsyth County Service Organizations that serve and protect us.  To restore confidence, hope and peace of mind through financial and other support when unforeseen or unwelcome circumstances enter their lives. Through our endowment, fundraising events, public relations, corporate sponsors, and board expertise, B.A.D.G.E. provides immediate and ongoing support to FCSO employees.

Q: Who qualifies to participate in receiving support from B.A.D.G.E.?

A: Any Employee of one of the Forsyth County Service Organizations (Sheriff's Department, Fire Department, Emergency Management & 911 Center, Cumming Police Department)

Q: How are funds raised for B.A.D.G.E.?

A: Funds are raised through the collection of donations from the community, corporate sponsors, and fundraising events.

What Can You Do?

All funds dispersed by B.A.D.G.E. are collected through our fundraising events or by generous individuals like yourself.

 

You can help by:​

  • Spreading the word. Just by  sharing this site, you can be a part of helping those that protect us.

  • Attend one of our fundraising events. 100% of proceeds go directly into the hands of those who need it.

  • Volunteer. We are always needing help. For more information about B.A.D.G.E., or current volunteer opportunities please call 770-580-0429, or email badgeoffcso@gmail.com

  • Donate directly. To make a contribution, please use the Donate button above. On behalf of the families you will help, we thank you.

Q: How much of the donations received benefit the Forsyth County Service Organizations Employee?

A: 100% of net proceeds go to Forsyth County Service Organization employees in need. All B.A.D.G.E. Board of Directors work as volunteers and do not receive a penny of compensation.

Q: How can I make a donation to B.A.D.G.E. or employee in need?

A: You can make a donation to the general benevolence fund, via credit card or debit card, by clicking the "Donate" button below, the "Donate" link in the menu at the top of the page, or by writing a check and mailing it to our address in the "Contact Us" section at the bottom of the page.
